Hatha Yoga is the practice of asana (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) aimed at bringing peace to the mind and body, preparing it for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation. It is an integrative experience which is slower than a ‘flow’ (vinyasa) class and which will hold postures a bit longer as well. This slow movement brings awareness to the mind body and soul and will leave you refreshed and renewed.
