Pineapple Yoga + Cycling Studio is home to The Dharma Footprint Project – committed to serving the most fragile and at-risk in the community by using yoga + cycling as a healing modality. Since 2016, the studio has been committed to several community programs starting with Juvenile Detention Yoga for incarcerated youth in Bradenton FL, Yoga. Shortly after launching this program, we added yoga for the sustainable recovery from addictions (based on Nikki Meyers’ Y12SR), trauma sensitive yoga for depression and anxiety, mindful movement and cycling for those affected by Parkinson’s disease, Love Your Brain™ Yoga for traumatic brain injury and concussion, yoga for veterans and their families and yoga for uniquely-abled individuals. Most recently we have partnered with Southeast Guide Dogs and created a virtual online Yoga + Movement library for their community.

The Dharma Footprint Project is a 501(3)(c) non-profit in the State of Florida. For more information about our community work, please visit: dharmafootprint.org.

The Pineapple Yoga Studio Teacher Training Program is closely aligned with the studio’s mission to serve. The community programs and our teacher trainees are offered to intern/assist in the studio’s community classes to compliment their RYT200 training. The studio’s program is the only one in Florida which introduces teachers and practitioners to special yoga populations which makes it unique in the industry.
