Yin Yoga is a 90 minute slow-paced style of yoga which is deeply contemplative and quiet. It targets the deepest YIN tissues of the body–ligaments, joints, bones and the deep fascial networks of the body. YIN yoga is deeply restorative to the body by improving energy flow, enhancing flow of chi to the organs, and by offering an emotional and mental release from tension. It incorporates principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time (between 3-5 minutes).
