Lauren is an experienced registered yoga teacher (ERYT), Aerial Yoga and Children’s Yoga Teacher (CRYT) and a practitioner of yoga for over 15 years. She has a passion for adventure, exploration of the mind and body, health and fitness and being outdoors in nature.
Yoga is a healing modality: it proved to be the only practice that alleviated her back and neck pain from scoliosis. She has made it her passion to become a teacher and share the healing gifts of yoga with everyone. She emphasizes teaching each student how to safely move and arrange the body through each pose. Lauren’s instruction is compassionate, empowering and introspective, providing an atmosphere in which each student can explore and strengthen their body through a practice free of competition and judgment. Her continuous training and personal exploration, combined with her skills in other healing modalities invites students to explore all aspects of their being from physical, emotional and mental to spiritual ~ cultivating a Body, Mind, Soul approach to her classes.
Lauren’s intuitive and natural style focuses on the students’ needs and goals with specialized attention in a nurturing and supportive environment. She combines elements of Pranayama (Breathing), Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative and Slow Flow Yoga elements to create a variety of dynamic, personalized and unique classes accessible to all levels of students. Her instruction is infused with a deep knowledge of safety, alignment, use of props, and posture mechanics to modify poses for students as needed. There is a strong focus on connecting with and using the breath to transform the students’ practice, cultivating gratitude and joy.
