The 6th Module features an exploration of core stabilizers and strengtheners. We cover yoga philosophy, lifestyle, ethics, the Yoga Sutras, and The Eight Limbs of Yoga. We discuss yoga history, mythology and the archetypes which are a deep source of inspiration. We explore the modern yoga practice & holistic living as an authentic expression of the yoga tradition. Our study of theming classes for psychological strength and resilience will explore how yoga can be used as a modality for those suffering from depression and/or anxiety. The curriculum includes: Group Asana Practice, Multi-media Lecture, Group Discussion, Journaling, Practice Teaching, Assisting, Adjusting, and Sequencing for stabilizing/strengthening poses.
