Mentha piperita ~ Peppermint oil is invigorating for the mind and senses. You can use it on your skin for a cool tingling sensation perfect for a massage following your yoga practice. It can also be used to reduce stress and anxiety by massaging it into the neck and upper back or mix it with a few drops of eucalyptus in a warm bath. In a diffuser, peppermint is uplifting and refreshing. This essential oil can be used in your favorite smoothie or as a mouthwash mixed with water. If you plan to ingest dilute 1 drop of oil with 4 ounces of water and enjoy a calorie free beverage.
