Drinking 8 glasses of water per day is recommended for optional health. Limit your water intake immediately before your yoga practice to avoid feeling bloated during your practice but allow yourself to take sips to replenish what you are losing. Following your practice, add a glass or two especially if your practice included a lot of spinal rinsing moves. These types of asanas eliminate toxins and metabolic waste from your organs and tissues which needs to be flushed out through the lymphatic system.
