Utthita Hasta Padangustasana ~ Start this pose in Tadasana and bring the knee into the belly. Reach one arm out and grab the outer blade of your foot or the big toe using two peace fingers. If you have balance, slowly extend the leg forward and straighten it. Then move it to the side for a breath, then slowly bring back to center. Slowly lower the leg with an exhale back to original position. This pose is great for strengthening the legs and ankles and stretching the legs. With practice, this pose improves balance.
