Garudasana ~ One of my favorite poses to do starting in Tadasana. First you bend knees and lift one leg and wrap it around the other leg. The arms wrap around each other, the elbows lift as the hands push away from the face. Therapeutic benefits of this pose include improvement in asthmatic symptoms, reduction in lower back pain and sciatica. This pose requires the yogi to slow down thoughts and concentrate to gain the balance to execute this pose.
